Visitor Dress Code

All visitors, to include children, must dress appropriately for visitation.  All clothing must cover from the neck to the kneecaps.

The following types of clothing are not allowed to be worn:

• tube tops, tank tops, or halter tops
• see-through clothing
• mini-skirts, mini-dresses, shorts, skorts, or culottes (at or above the kneecap)
• form-fitting clothes such as leotards, spandex, and leggings
• clothes that expose a person's midriff, side, or back
• tops or dresses that have revealing necklines and/or excessive splits
• coats, jackets, shawls and scarves will be placed in an appropriate area.

Visiting Hours

**Beginning on August 25, MCI-W will also hold visiting hours on Thursdays, from 5 - 8 p.m.**

All visitors must arrive at least one hour before theclose of visitation.

Visits are permitted based on thelast digit of the inmate's corrections identification number and thecorresponding calendar date.

Inmates with odd ending numbers (1,3,5,7,9) are permitted visitson the corresponding odd date (January -December 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15 etc.).

Inmates with even ending numbers (0,2,4,6,8) are permitted visitson the corresponding even date (January -December 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14 etc.).

There are no visits on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or the 31st ofany month.

GeneralInformation:

Use of restroom facilities is prohibited during visitation.  If either the inmate or avisitor requires the use of the restroom, the visit will be terminated at thattime.  Please keep this in mind when visitingwith small children.

A visitor 16 years of age and older must present photograph identification.

Children (18 years of age and younger) visiting the inmate must be immediate family to either the inmate or the visitor and must be accompanied by a person 18 years of age or older who is on the inmate's visiting list.

An inmate may receive no more than two (2) visits per week andonly one (1) visit per day.

A maximum of four (4) visitors may visit an inmate at one time,regardless of age, with the exception of infants (6 months oryounger).  At least one visitor must be an adult.

Visits that take place in the infirmary are limited totwo (2) adult visitors.

No packages, money orders, cash or checks may be brought intothe institution by visitors.Inmate mailmust be mailed to the inmate at P.O. Box 535, Jessup, Maryland 20794. Money orders should be mailed to the inmate at P.O. Box 17111 Baltimore, MD 21297-1111.
