Visitor Dress Code

All visitors, to include children, must dress appropriately for visitation.  All clothing must cover from the neck to the kneecaps.

The following types of clothing are not allowed to be worn:

• tube tops, tank tops, or halter tops
• see-through clothing
• mini-skirts, mini-dresses, shorts, skorts, or culottes (at or above the kneecap)
• form-fitting clothes such as leotards, spandex, and leggings
• clothes that expose a person's midriff, side, or back
• tops or dresses that have revealing necklines and/or excessive splits
• coats, jackets, shawls and scarves will be placed in an appropriate area.

All visitors must be registered before one hour priorto the close of visiting day.

Protective Custody Status
Friday, Saturday and Sunday
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Visitors must be processed prior to 8:00 p.m. Visitorsshould plan to arrive no later than 8:00 p.m. to allow proper time forprocessing. However, processing time varies and is dependent upon the number ofvisitors.

Holidays: Holiday visits will be determined by the Wardenand distributed through institutional memorandum. Visitors may call the EasternCorrectional Institution's mail phone number and follow the prompts forvisiting hours and holiday visits. The inmate population is notified of visitsand all changes through the inmate information channel.

Duration: 2 hours

General Information:

Use of restroom facilities is prohibited during visitation.  If either the inmate or avisitor requires the use of the restroom, the visit will be terminated at thattime.  Please keep this in mind when visitingwith small children.

Normal Visiting Hours for ECIEast and West  Compounds:
Friday, Saturday and Sundays:
8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.- Allvisitors must be registered  1 hour prior to close of Visiting Room.

Normal Annex Visiting Hours:
Fridays:  5:00 p.m. through9:00 p.m.*
Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00a.m. through 5:00 p.m.*
*All visitors must beregistered 1 hour prior to close of the Visiting Room.

A visitor 16 years of age and older must present photograph identification.

Children (18 years of age and younger) visiting the inmate must be immediate family to either the inmate or the visitor and must be accompanied by a person 18 years of age or older who is on the inmate's visiting list.

A maximum of two (2) visits per week. The week shall begin on Tuesday and end onMonday.  Visits are limited totwo (2) visits per day.

Administrative Segregation inmate visitsshall be of the same duration unlessvisitors are waiting in the lobby.  Inthis case, they shall be allowed only one(1) visit per day.

Disciplinary Segregation inmate visitsare allowed one (1) hour visit one (1)time per week.

A maximum of five (5) visitors shall beallowed to visit an inmate at one time withno more than three (3) adults or no morethan three (3) children in the group offive.
